It was duringthis period that jewelry design was supported anddeveloped for the first time. Iranian and Armeniandesigners and jewel makers were invited to the court,and the making and collection of exquisite gifts and theprecise classification of government treasury jewelrystarted. Kiani crown, Naderi throne, JewelGlobe and Peacock Throne (Sun Throne) are among thetreasures of this period. Neyshabour turquoise andPersian Gulf pearls were gradually added to theprecious collections.These royal jewels and exquisite gems were keptin Golestan Palace during the Qajar period and then inthe basement of Marble Palace (Marmar Palace) duringthe first Pahlavi period.
