Explaining some favourable areas for the development of cooperation and relations between Iran and Pakistan, including in the field of energy, Dr Raisi pointed out the importance of security, especially at the common borders of the two countries, for the development of border exchanges, and said, “The two countries have a close and common approach and view in the issue of the necessity of providing and maintaining security, the need to decisively fight against various forms of terrorism and supporting human rights without discrimination, especially defending the oppressed Palestinian people,”.
Stating that the relations between the two countries can be improved and strengthened in all bilateral, regional and international dimensions, the President clarified, “Consolidation and deepening of the relations between the two friendly nations of Iran and Pakistan may have opponents, but the determination of the leaders of the two countries to develop the relations overcomes these oppositions and this trip can be a turning point in creating transformation in the relations between the two countries”.
